Professionals Seeking CMMC Training

The U.S. Department of Defense has sponsored the development of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) to help reduce cyber risk to its supply chain across the 300,000+ members of the defense industrial base (DIB) and to improve the confidentiality of federal contract information (FCI) (from 48 CFR 52.204-21) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) (from 32 CFR 2002.4).

No longer does self-attestation of cybersecurity hygiene suffice; formal, evidence-based assessment are required at one of five levels for which suppliers must attain in order to bid and be awarded contracts.

CMMC 1.0 contained 14 domains but CMMC 2.0 only has 14 domains, which are aligned to NIST 800-171..  One of domains is Awareness and Training.  Cyber Security Training and Consulting LLC has developed a series of CMMC level-specific training materials designed to help organizations seeking certification (OSCs) meet the unique requirements of each level.

Hosted on our learning management platform, OSCs are able to procure exactly the number of seats required to match the number of employees.  Course progress is tracked and reported so OSCs can provide evidence to the Certified CMMC Assessor.
